Our story

After 20 years of experience working on various business and technology projects in different government and private organisations, both medium and large, and across a wide range of industries, Blanca Bastos, the founder of bstructural, realised that although many factors might seem to contribute to a project’s failure or lack of expected success, these are merely consequences of a structural fault: the disconnection between the three most important elements of any organisation: people, processes, and systems.

Of these three elements, processes are arguably the most intangible, as they often exist only in the minds of the experts within the organisation. Keeping your business processes in the shadows and hidden makes their management, and thus the optimal management of the organisation, impossible.

After detecting this common factor in the failure of many projects, and not only in projects but also in many problems affecting organisations and having understood what it is and how to solve it, Blanca came to the conclusion that organisations need to go beyond trying to resolve problems; it is essential to dissolve them. To help companies achieve this, she founded bstructural.

bstructural was born out of the urgent need to make the invisible visible and thus help companies interested in continuous improvement, growth, and expansion to structure their people, processes, and systems.

At bstructural, we offer a comprehensive suite of services including, but not limited to, consulting, coaching, and training in areas such as business process management, process automation, improvement, optimisation, control and monitoring of processes, and change management.
